My largest local annual community event - the Surbiton festival - was held this past weekend, and I grabbed the opportunity to indulge in a little street photography.
Admittedly, this was a little bit difficult to do, considering I had a balloon-obsessed little lady with me who first nagged me into buying an enormous, helium-filled prancing horse (together with a large Thomas the Tank Engine one for the absent, sleeping younger brother); and then wanted me to hold them for her (so two strategic errors - inviting the little lady along in the first place and then managing to 'enter' the festival where the balloon seller was!).
Note to self - do not take children along on street photography meanders!!
Regardless of this slight oversight, I did manage to get a variety of photos that I'm quite happy with, starting with these black and white images of a small number of vintage cars that were on display.
