Such a wonderful idea for a memento of little people being carefree, gorgeous, cheeky munchkins. And future heirlooms, when the little people are no longer quite so little and they can marvel "my fingerprint was that small?" in an incredulous way.
I was recently asked to photograph a new range of fingerprint jewellery for the Glasgow-based Truly Silver. It was brilliant fun and I loved capturing the details of these beautiful, one-off pieces.
fingerprint necklace charmsBespoke, one-off fingerprint charm necklaces. Styled and shot by Surbiton-based product photographer Marion Wotton. As well as necklaces, there is the option of a small charm on a bangle - which was surprisingly challenging to photograph in it's entirety in a way that I was happy with. There was a lot of adjusting the fabric underneath to get the colours and angle of the bangle just right (the fabric is actually a gorgeous silk scarf by London designer Alysia Thomas)

The cufflinks were a different challenge again - I roamed the
house studio gathering items and created an appropriately masculine set to display them in detail.
